This course introduces you to the core principles of Lean and Agile, not as rigid methods or checklists, but as ways of thinking about work, flow, and value creation. It is designed to help you understand why these principles work, when they apply, and how to use them responsibly in real organizational contexts.

The course is based on the book written by Remco te Winkel, founder of PMO Mastery. Rather than offering abstract theory, the book—and this course—use storytelling to translate complex concepts into practical insights that are easy to recognize in everyday project, PMO, and portfolio environments.

Throughout the course, you will work through the complete content of the book, supported by animated summaries that clarify key ideas and make them easy to remember. These animations help you quickly grasp concepts such as flow, limiting work in progress, prioritization, feedback loops, and continuous improvement, without oversimplifying their meaning.

This course is especially suited for PMO professionals, project managers, and leaders who want to move beyond terminology and frameworks, and instead develop a deeper understanding of how Lean and Agile thinking can improve decision-making, reduce waste, and increase predictability. You will learn how these principles apply not only in software development, but also in broader organizational and portfolio contexts.

By the end of the course, you will not just know the main Lean and Agile principles—you will understand how to recognize them in practice, how to explain them to others, and how to apply them in a way that fits your organization rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all solution.
